Chief Human Resources Officer
Michael Pico joined Pennrose Management Company in October 2014 as Vice President of Learning and Employee Development. In May 2016, he was promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, he oversees all human capital initiatives for the organization, including acting as the senior champion for Pennrose employees’ success and managing the intertwined responsibilities of supporting hiring, onboarding, employee support, and learning and development.
Prior to joining Pennrose, Mr. Pico was Vice President of Enterprise Learning for Caesars Entertainment (formerly Harrah’s Entertainment), where he led the strategic and operational direction for leadership development and learning, supporting more than 54 distinct properties, 23 domestic and international brands, and over 65,000 employees domestically and internationally. Michael also served as Director of Training & Development at AIG American General, where he led the training strategy and business plan to support the Employee Benefits Profit Center.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from the University of Scranton. He is also a Certified Level I Coach and Certified National Bereavement Facilitator, and a Licensed Trainer in Customer Relations and Coaching, and Development Dimensions International (DDI) programs. Mr. Pico presently resides in New Jersey.
