    Pennrose Management Company, one of the nation’s leading multifamily and mixed-use property management companies, won 14 awards at the 2014 Annual Garden State Awards of Excellence. Presented each year by the New Jersey Apartment Association (NJAA), the awards recognize industry professionals and their properties that represent the best in multifamily rental housing within the state. The awards were presented on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at a recognition dinner at the Hilton Hotel in East Brunswick, New Jersey. A record-setting crowd of more than 640 NJAA members and guests attended the 1920s-themed soiree.

  • Michael J. Pico Joins Pennrose Management Company as Vice President of Learning and Employee Development

    Michael J. Pico has joined Pennrose Management Company (PMC) as vice president of Learning and Employee Development, as announced today by the organization. Pico has more than 15 years leading organizational transformation through critical learning, training and leadership development programs both in the U.S. and abroad. In his new capacity, he leads organizational development for PMC, which includes creating individual career plans with each employee. This is the first position of its type for the company, which Pico assumed on October 20.

  • Pennrose Honored with 2014 MHN Excellence Award for John C. Anderson Apartments

    A landmark development by Pennrose Properties, LLC in partnership with the dmhFund, has won a 2014 MHN Excellence Award for distinction within the multifamily industry. John C. Anderson Apartments, one of the nation’s first LGBT-friendly senior affordable developments located in Philadelphia, was recognized at a VIP reception in October in New York City. Each year, these awards, hosted by Multi-Housing News, are given to the multifamily industry’s most noteworthy people, companies and properties. Judges consist of industry veterans from a range of sectors, including asset management, development and interior design.

    Fairview Village, an affordable apartment community developed by Pennrose Properties, LLC in partnership with the Housing Authority of Chester County, Pennsylvania, has won a 2014 National Agency Award of Excellence from the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO). The new community also won a NAHRO Agency Award of Merit for Innovative Townhouse Design. The awards were presented during the NAHRO National Conference & Exhibition on Friday, October 17, 2014, in Baltimore, Maryland.

    Mark H. Dambly, president, Pennrose Properties, LLC, has been elected to the 2015 board of directors of the Pennsylvania Apartment Association East (PAA East). PAA East board members represent some of the largest national and regional developers, management companies, lenders and more. Together, they lead the nonprofit’s mission to provide services that enhance quality rental housing. Dambly’s one-year term begins on January 1, 2015.
