Perry Homes Reimagined
A decade ago, Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority's (BMHA) 2014 Perry Choice Plan detailed a vision to bring life back to acres of Perry Homes in Buffalo, NY, which had become hundreds of vacant, dilapidated apartment buildings.
Today, financing was closed on for the first phase of the reimagined Perry Homes. Thank you to the Pennrose team and our financing partners.
Stay tuned for the groundbreaking/demolition celebration!
Perry Homes I will include the demolition of 24 blighted, vacant buildings and create 405 new construction, 100% affordable units with one to five bedrooms. Perry Homes will offer 528,232 SF of new housing and community amenities, including 405 affordable housing units. The unit mix will consist of 108 one-bedrooms, 110 two-bedrooms, 136-three bedrooms, 37 four-bedrooms and 14 five-bedrooms. The ground floors will also include residential amenity space such as fitness centers, community rooms, and a centralized property management office. The 18-acre site provides ample outdoor open space, both programmed and passive, that will complement the housing and commercial/community uses.
