Pennrose is pleased to announce the appointment of Tricia Yarger as the organization’s first vice president of capital markets. In her new role, Yarger will be responsible for managing external capital partner and investor relationships, helping them put their capital to work in Pennrose properties, in addition to marketing Pennrose’s pipeline, and overseeing land acquisitions, LIHTC, and market rate financing across the organization’s portfolio.

“We are thrilled to officially welcome Tricia to the Pennrose family,” said Timothy I. Henkel, president at Pennrose. “Tricia is a well-known and respected talent in the affordable housing finance industry, and we are confident she will be an excellent addition as we navigate the evolving capital needs and availability in our industry.”

Prior to her role with Pennrose, Yarger served as head of capital markets with national real estate firm Fairstead, where she was responsible for structuring and securing debt and equity across the company’s entire capital stack, including bridge, construction, permanent, and mezzanine loans as well as LIHTC and conventional equity. Yarger also held leadership positions with Centerline Capital Group and Citigroup, where she was a director with Citi Community Capital for more than a decade.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the affordable housing industry, Yarger has closed more than 200 multifamily affordable housing real estate transactions creating and renovating over 40,000 apartments totaling more than $5 billion of debt originations or placements. She began her career with General Electric, holding various finance roles over six years.

“I’m thrilled to join Pennrose during a moment of significant growth and strategic expansion,” added Yarger. “I look forward to working closely with Pennrose’s leadership and development teams to deliver more high-quality, affordable housing across the country.”

Yarger will report directly to Timothy Henkel. She earned her Bachelor of Science in finance from Boston College.
